Rachel Custom Jewelry

If you have some vague ideas of what you'd like or know exactly what you're trying to achieve and can't find it in a store. Both are a perfect place to start.

Hi! I'm Rachel - a designer, bench jeweler, and the person behind OctaHedron. I trained at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, and I hold my Jewelry Technician Diploma along with Graduate Diamond and Colored Stone Diplomas from the Gemological Institute of America. So when it comes to your piece, nothing is generic. The gem search, the metalwork, the way it's constructed - every decision is specific to your design. I go deep on all of it.

My job is part designer, part consultant, and a lot of just really loving the hunt. I have connections all over the world and I'll find you the stone - the exact color, the exact character, the one that makes sense for your piece and your budget. I'm here to support you through the whole process, not just hand you something off a shelf.

Every project starts with a real conversation - I want to understand what drew you to something, what it needs to feel like, what matters to you. Then we move into CAD design so you can see exactly what you're getting before anything is made. We refine it together until it feels right. I work on the piece myself and bring in a talented team of local San Francisco craftspeople depending on what the design calls for.

My favorite moment is when someone sees their piece for the first time and it's more than they imagined. That's what I'm going for every time.

If you have something in mind - or even just a feeling you can't quite put into words yet - I'd love to hear about it.
